Raymond Siu Tang is a New York State licensed Professional Engineer and has more than seventeen years of civil design experience with a focus in Utility Relocation, Infrastructure design, and MPT. Mr. Tang has worked on various major transportation projects for public agencies such as NYC Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC), NYC Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), and Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
Mr. Tang received his BS in Civil Engineering from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute of NYU. Throughout his career, he has performed storm water analyses, hydraulic studies, track alignment and site/civil design services. Mr. Tang’s experience includes drainage, site work including roadway schematic geometric and grading, civil plan and profile layout, roadway pavement, pavement marking, soil erosion control, utility relocation, cost estimations, report writing and scheduling construction phasing for projects.
Prior to joining Insight Civil, Raymond worked as a Civil Engineer at STV, AECOM URS and AKRF. He has played a key design role on major infrastructure projects in the New York City metro region, from the award-winning JFK AirTrain, PANYNJ to NYSDOT projects such as Gowanus Expressway-Shore Parkway Interchange Emergency Repair, MTA Capital Construction/LIRRs East Side Access (ESA), NYCDOT Rehabilitation work at the St. George’s Ferry Terminal, and various NYCDDC infrastructure projects in Staten Island.
Raymond is a father of two teenage girls and an energetic 3-year old boy, and enjoys vacations with his family, swimming at the beach and relaxing in the park in his spare time.
